It would be remiss of us not to inform you all that National Truck Drivers Appreciation Week is underway. While we don't recommend hugging truckers (especially not without permission), it is important to recognize and appreciate their contribution to society. It's not difficult to see how America relies on truckers. Think about the products you purchase online, at the grocery store, or in a restaurant. Truckers deliver most of these items. What about the gasoline you need to get to these destinations? Yes, truckers also delivered that. It can be easy for people to forget about the contributions they make to society and everyday life. That's why National Truck Driver Appreciation week is so important. The way we live is dependent on those who transport goods and material to far-flung parts of the United States. It's not hard to remember that for a week. You might even be able to hug them. If they are okay with it.
